Scholarship from WSU

This is from Maura Sedgemansedgemm@dearbornschools.org

Help me get the word out to new teachers who want to pursue a Master’s degree in ESL/BBE in the fall–WSU is offering a $2500 scholarship to the first 12 people who sign up for a master’s in ESL and join the Melvindale/Crestwood cohort (classes held in Melvindale).  I have attached the announcement.  This would really help new hires.

From Elizabeth Hopkins, the program coordinator at WSU:
Also, here is a handout detailing a new scholarship offering for any new students accepted into the fall 2015 ESL/BBE Masters degree program, who would like to participate in the new Melvindale/Crestwood cohort.  $2500.00 in the first year of classes is a very generous offer, and I would encourage all who qualify to hop on board.  Dearborn teachers can participate in the program as long as they commit to taking one class in each of the three semesters (fall, winter, and spring) of the 2015-16 academic year in Melvindale.  This grant-driven scholarship is meant to generate new cohort partnerships around metropolitan Detroit. I will also be sending it out to other districts in Wayne County.
