New Rules Regarding Substitute Teacher Permits

Good Afternoon, MDE updated the rules regarding substitute teacher permits.  Any person interested in subbing as a teacher is now required to have 60 semester hours rather than 90;  however the person must be 22 years old to be assigned in grades 9-12. The new rules for substitute teacher permits were effective September 25, 2018.
