All kindergarten through 8th grade student enrollments/registrations must take place at the Administrative Service Center at 18700 Audette, Dearborn, MI in Room 5, between the hours of 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Please call (313) 827-3005 for an appointment.
Online pre-enrollment allows you to type in much of the information we will need about your child. It saves you (and us) paperwork and time when you come to the Administrative Service Center (ASC). You will still need to make an appointment to visit ASC and submit the paperwork listed in the Enrollment and Address Verification Check-Off below. The other forms below are not needed if you are starting online.
Please note – Instead of coming to ASC, high school students are encouraged to complete enrollment at their high school so a counselor can review their transcript and assist with class placement.
Similarly, parents registering kindergarten students in spring for the next school year should complete the paperwork at their elementary school, which may have building-specific information to share with parents.
Enrollment packets are available for pick up at all the schools and the ASC. However, all that information will need to be submitted at the ASC, along with the documents listed in the Enrollment and Address Verification Check Off listed below.
Please note, only children living with a parent or legal guardian in the Dearborn Public School District are allowed to enroll.

Parents of kindergarten students:
For the current school year, a child who resides in the school district may enroll in kindergarten if the child is at least 5 years of age on September 1st.
Parents need to fill out a Kindergarten Waiver (see files below) if their child will turn 5 between September 2 and December 1 and the parent/guardian wants to enroll the child an an early 5’s/kindergarten program for the following school year. To enroll, the parent or legal guardian must notify the school district in writing no later than June 1st before the beginning of the school year that he or she intends to enroll the child in kindergarten. If a child becomes a resident of the school district after June 1st, the child’s parent or legal guardian may enroll the child in young 5’s/kindergarten for that school year if the parent or legal guardian submits this written notification to the school district no later than August 15th before the beginning of that school year. A school district that receives this written notification may make a recommendation to the parent or legal guardian of a child described that the child is not ready to enroll in kindergarten due to the child’s age or other factors. However, regardless of this recommendation, the parent or legal guardian retains the sole discretion to determine whether or not to enroll the child in kindergarten.
