Dearborn Teacher University

One of the Action Points under the Human Resources Focus Area of the district’s Strategic Plan is called Dearborn Teacher University. The Goal of this program is to meet state professional development requirements, provide effective and timely support for all Dearborn Schools new professional staff and reduce non-contract renewals and resignations of probationary teachers.  The long term goal is to Expand Dearborn Teacher University” to “Dearborn University” to include non-instructional employee Professional Development.

The following is a Dearborn Teacher University program timeline for implementation that has been established by the Human Resources committee as part of Dearborn Strategic Plan.
