School Improvement and the Dearborn Teacher University

Dearborn Teacher University welcomes their New Professional Staff!

This past week, the Dearborn Teacher University sponsored a 2.5 day orientation for all of its newly hired professional staff. During the sessions offered, staff members from various district departments presented a brief overview of how they can support teachers during the school year.

Ms. Maryann Brittingham was invited to provide strategies and solutions on Positive Classroom Management techniques. This highly interactive and informative session was very well received by our participants.

Day three centered upon content and language objectives and unpacking grade level standards. Special Education ancillary staff were able to meet with the SE coordinators for their initial training. Thank you to all presenters who made themselves available to support.

Our new professional staff proudly display the “Students First” sign.
