Walk in freezers added at eight schools

How do you get a new appliance in your home?

The district needed a lot more than two delivery people and a dolly to install new walk in freezers this summer. Freezers were installed at eight schools across the district to help combat food supply chain issues and to reduce the amount of food transported daily between buildings.

The project cost about $2.8 million, paid for mostly from the Food Service Budget.
