In October, DAE students at the Bint Jebail Center with teacher Cat Tade practiced their public speaking skills through demonstration speeches. Many students shared their expertise in drawing, cooking, handicrafts, and decorating. Some students instructed the class in exciting sports such as soccer and judo, and other students shared helpful tips for safer driving, moving household items, quitting smoking, and planning great vacations. The informative speeches included excellent visual aids, videos, and pictures. Students are looking forward to the next presentation project: Discovering Southeast Michigan. Local places of interest will be researched and shared with the class.
