{"id":358,"date":"2016-08-30T18:13:51","date_gmt":"2016-08-30T22:13:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/sip\/?page_id=358"},"modified":"2016-08-30T23:41:24","modified_gmt":"2016-08-31T03:41:24","slug":"mrs-faraj-biography","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/dearbornschools.org\/schoolimprovementblog\/home\/mrs-faraj-biography\/","title":{"rendered":"Mrs. Faraj Biography"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5 style=\"line-height: 18.0pt;\">Greetings Dearborn Community,<\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"line-height: 18.0pt;\">My name is Fatme Faraj, I am the\u00a0Director of School Improvement and Leadership Coaching in Dearborn Public Schools. \u00a0Twenty-Two years ago, I started my career in Dearborn Schools as a classroom teacher and served in various positions. \u00a0Since then, I have held many assignments where I was working closely with staff, students, families and the community. \u00a0My assignments included classroom teacher, reading recovery specialist, interventionist, coach, assistant principal, principal and currently a director in the district.<\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"line-height: 18.0pt;\">School Improvement and Leadership are two areas I have always had passion for in my professional career. \u00a0My main responsibility is to\u00a0lead the district and building level school improvement process, facilitate the application for State level School Improvement Plan reports and Leadership Development in the school district. \u00a0Leadership development includes overseeing the\u00a0Dearborn Teacher University program.<\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"line-height: 18.0pt;\">It is an honor and privilege to be the director for Dearborn Schools and\u00a0to service our students, staff and the entire school community. I hold a Bachelor Degree, a Master&#8217;s Degree in Bilingual\/Bicultural Education, and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Michigan Dearborn.
