{"id":263,"date":"2025-05-05T16:20:10","date_gmt":"2025-05-05T16:20:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dearbornschools.org\/facilities-planning\/?p=263"},"modified":"2025-06-12T14:04:20","modified_gmt":"2025-06-12T14:04:20","slug":"may-5-study-session-to-hear-infrastructure-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dearbornschools.org\/facilities-planning\/2025\/05\/05\/may-5-study-session-to-hear-infrastructure-report\/","title":{"rendered":"May 5 study session to hear infrastructure report"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Dearborn Public Schools Board of Education has scheduled a special study session on May 5, 2025 to discuss infrastructure needs, as the district moves towards putting another bond question on a ballot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The open meeting is set to start at 6 p.m. that evening at the Administrative Service Center, 18700 Audette St., Dearborn.&nbsp; The public is able to attend, and the meeting will be shown live on the district\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@DearbornPublicSchoolsVideo\">YouTube Channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A key item on the agenda will be hearing a report from Quinn Evans.&nbsp; The firm was hired in January to look at all of the district\u2019s school buildings, with a focus on assessing the district\u2019s historic buildings and providing updated estimates on what it would cost to continue to use those buildings as schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The May report to the board will outline those findings.&nbsp; Trustees may also ask questions and provide administration more guidance as the district works to formulate its next bond proposal.
