The Teacher Leaders are proud to offer staff development for teachers.

We often are able to offer SB-CEUs for workshop participants. We must apply to the State of Michigan, Dept. of Ed. 40 days before offering a workshop. Sometimes we are not able to meet this deadline for professional staff development.
Here are some things to keep in mind if you need SB-CUEs.
- There is no additional charge for CEUs offered to teachers in the district.
- Participants must complete an “SB-CEU Participant Application Form” that includes your social security number.
- Participants must sign-in and provide the last 4 digits of your social security number for identification purposes.
- Participants must sign-out - This is the only way we have to verify to the State of Michigan Department of Education that you were in attendance for the whole session.
- Participants are asked to complete an “SB-CEU Program Evaluation Form” at the end of the workshop.
- In order to receive credit for a workshop you must attend the workshop in its entirety.
SB-CEUs are not fully equivalent to graduate credit hours offered by a university. The following chart may help you to determine the value of SB-CEUs you have earned.
