Our School news and information:

 

EMPTY BOWLS MEAL

Empty Bowls is an international event that was started by an Edsel Ford alumni.  The concept is simple.....

students make clay bowls.  A meal of soup and bread

is prepared.  People are invited to make a donation, choose a bowl, enjoy a simiple meal and take the hand-made bowl with them to remind them of the world hunger problem.

The art department hosts this anual event at Park Place.  Park Place generously donates the soup and

facility.  Marshall Field's donates the bread and coffee

is donated by Starbucks.  Rovin Ceramics contributes

clay for the bowl making. 

Join us Monday, November 21 between 4 - 6:30 p.m.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to the American Red Cross and Imagine Render. (the parent organization for Empty Bowls)

 

District Professional development on November 23rd

Art staff meets in the lobby of ASC at 8:00.
