The Department of Instructional Services is responsible for the development and implementation of instructional curriculum, P – 12, including the professional development of teachers and administrators necessary to promote the use of best practices and to increase student achievement. Student achievement data from district, state and national assessments are monitored to inform decisions leading to the improvement, enhancement and expansion of teaching and learning opportunities. Contact Instructional Services if you have questions about grading of students, texts and other materials that are being used, staff issues (following discussion with the building principal), professional development, school calendar, Montessori, kindergarten roundup, summer school, and dual enrollment.
