District Activity Fees
A committee of staff and community members met over a four-week period to review the current fee structure and prepare a written report of their analysis and recommendations. With Board approval of the budget, the work of the committee can now be implemented as students begin the 2006-07 school year.
Chargeable activities could include but are not limited to: Academic Enrichment, Academic Games, Challenge Bowl, Chess, Drama, Future Problem Solvers, Jets, Literary Magazine, Math Counts, Model UN, and Photography.
2006-07 Activity Fee Pay Schedule
- Elementary School $25 per activity / $60 max per student
- Middle School $30 per academic activity / $60 per athletic activity
$150 max per student (academic and athletic) - High School $60 per academic activity / $100 per athletic activity
$250 max per student (academic and athletic) - NEW - $450 max per family (academic and athletic)
The new activity fee is designed to help meet the budget plan for 2006-07. Any student with financial hardship will have an opportunity to apply for a waiver though the Business Services office.
