While exercising decision making and implementing policy, we will at all times, model the Dearborn Public Schools Core Values.
At no time will we place a student in an unsafe environment.
The Dearborn Public Schools will ensure every student has the academic and social support to be successful within his or her classroom environment and to successfully prepare to meet his or her personal goals.

A few years ago, the Dearborn Public Schools sought input from many segments of the community and created a set of Core Values related to Character Education. These Core Values have served the District well.

The new revised Core Values stated as a part of this Strategic Plan speak to an adult audience and provide additional points of clarity we can use with students. These revisions are a reaffirmation of our existing Core Values with the express intent of extending application to the wider educational community.
