Sharon Dulmage

Sharon Dulmage has served on the board since 1986.  Her current term expires on Dec. 31, 2008.  Dulmage attended Henry Ford Community College and Central Michigan University. She has a Bachelor in Business Administration degree and works as a Director of Nursing.  She is active in the Dearborn Rotary, Education Foundation, Past President of four different PTA groups, AAUW, the Michigan Campaign for Quality Care, and the League of Women Voters. Her children are graduates of the Dearborn Public Schools.

 

Joseph Guido

Joseph Guido has served on the board since 1993.  His term expires on Dec. 31, 2007.  He is the father of three Dearborn graduates.  He is an architect and owner of the firm Guido Architects, Inc., located in Dearborn.  Guido serves on the City of Dearborn Municipal Building Authority. He also serves on the Camp Dearborn Task Force.

 

 

Aimee Blackburn

Aimee Blackburn has served on the board since 2001.  Her current term ends Dec. 31, 2008. She lives in Dearborn with her husband, Tim, and their two children, who attend Dearborn Public Schools.  Blackburn recently graduated with Honors from Henry Ford Community College with an Associate in Business Administration degree.  She is currently attending Wayne State University studying Business Finance.  Blackburn works for Huntington Bank in the Business Banking Department in Troy.  Trustee Blackburn is an active member in many community organizations.

 

Mary Petlichkoff

Ms. Petlichkoff was elected to the Board in November of 2007 and began her first term on January 1, 2008. She served on many school and district committees including the Bond Task/Work Force, Strategic Plan Committee, Boundary Change Committee, and Residency Verification Task Force. Mary is also a long time member of the PTSA serving at both the school level and as a member of the PTSA Council. However, her involvement in the community goes far beyond the school district. Ms. Petlichkoff is also a City Charter Commissioner, City Beautiful Commissioner, and a member of the Oakman Grove Neighborhood Association and Federation of Neighborhood Association. Ms. Petlichkoff and her family have lived in Dearborn for more than 20 years.

 

Darrell Donelson

Darrell Donelson is serving his first term on the Board.  His term expires on December 31, 2009. His two sons are graduates of Fordson High School.  One son is a Dearborn teacher and the other an attorney.  Two grandchildren are currently attending Dearborn schools.  Donelson graduated from Eastern Michigan University and has a Master in Educational Administration degree and a Specialist Degree in Reading.  Darrell is a retired Dearborn teacher and principal. During his 39-1/2 years with Dearborn Schools, he spoke at six national conferences and mentored six present-day Dearborn administrators.

 

Pamela Adams

Pamela Adams has served on the board since 1996 and was recently re-elected. Her current board term expires on December 31, 2009. She is a graduate of Edsel Ford High School, the mother of two Dearborn High School graduates, and the grandmother of a current Dearborn School student. Her oldest daughter graduated from Michigan State University and is a teacher in Bloomfield Hills. Her youngest daughter graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and is a teacher in the Dearborn Schools. Adams was involved for many years with the Board of Managers of Michigan PTSA and currently serves on the Executive Board of the Wayne County Association of School Boards.

James Schoolmaster

James Schoolmaster is serving his third term on the board. His term expires on Dec. 31, 2010.  His two children are graduates of Dearborn High School and Michigan State University.  Schoolmaster graduated from the University of Michigan in 1970 and graduated cum laude in 1973 from Wayne State University Law School.  He is a practicing attorney with the firm of Schoolmaster, Hom, Killeen, Siefer, and Arene, which handles litigation for AAA of Michigan.  James is married to Darlene who has taught in Dearborn since 1969.  Presently, Darlene is a teacher on loan to the Michigan Department of Education.  In this position, Darlene is in charge of teacher education for the state’s 171 Reading First Schools.

 

HFCC Board of Education Meetings are held on the third Monday of the Month at the Administrative Service and Conference Center on the Campus of HFCC.

Board of Education meetings start at 7:30 PM.
